The opening Day of the Lagstad School Museum will be celebrated on International Mother Language Day 21.2., as learning in Espoo has always taken place in many different languages \u2013 in the past as well as today \u2013 and this is also highlighted in the School Museum\u2019s new exhibition.<\/p>\n

The exhibition texts are available in Finnish, Swedish and English, as well as in an easy\u2011to\u2011read version. We want as many people as possible to feel welcome in the renewed museum, and therefore the opening day\u2019s programme can be enjoyed through experiencing and doing \u2013 language skills are not essential.<\/p>\n

The event is organised by KAMU Espoo City Museum’s Lagstad School Museum. PerformanceSirkus will also perform at the event, and Esbo hembygdsf\u00f6rening will take part.<\/p>\n
